If you are a dog owner, you might be knowing the dogs smell. Some doggy odors can be really unbearable. If your pooch sits on the sofa, carpet, bed and you cuddle him, the smell just comes along with everything and even on you. It's really unavoidable. If your pooch smells, you need to check and find out from where the smell is coming from. Is it from his skin or from other parts of the body such as: Ears: He may be having an infection in the ears which can make them smell. You can find out if he is shaking his head a lot, pawing at his ears or rubbing his ears on the ground. Mouth: If the mouth is smelling of your furry friend, he may be having a dental problem or underlying with internal diseases such as diabetes or kidney problems. Backside: If he is smelling from back that means he might be having the anal gland problem or flatulence caused by digestive problems. If your pooch has long hair then there he may be having soiling due to feces sticking to the long hair in the area around the anus. Then put some cotton in his ears and wet his full body nicely. Use the gentle shampoo and lather it on your pooch properly. Then finally rinse him accurately so that any particle of soap is not left on him or it will dry and make him itchy and even it cause your doggy to produce excess skin oil. Dry Your Pooch Thoroughly: Dry your dog as soon as possible. You can use a towel and rub his back and forth, up and down all around. It's not just the oils or other things make him smell.
